About Richard Nicholas

Richard has been a technology lawyer for over 25 years and a partner in the technology and data team of a national UK law firm for 15 years, helping businesses with technology contracts, data protection, and digital risk.

When AI arrived as the next big question, as well as advising on the regulation he went deep into the weeds and learned it properly, because he could see where the questions were heading.

Richard runs regular training sessions and workshops for in-house counsel and business teams across the UK on the implementation of AI, building workflows, agents, agent swarms and orchestration and is a regular speaker at industry events and universities on AI, the future of law and what it means to be a "useful lawyer" when AI means that legal answers and every agreement created are available to everyone in an instant.
